I went out for a pre-lunch run today - my motivation was to get my run in before the rain came. Mission accomplished.
I mapped my run through Cresson.
4.6 miles in 45:23 - a little under 10:00/mile - Yay!
Someone once told me that the first 3 miles are the hardest and that once you get those under your belt, distance becomes easier. I totally didn't believe her, but today, I felt like I could've added more distance than 4.6 miles - maybe she was right.......

Hey Aim~
Way to go with the workouts recently!! So in regards to a previous post-- My sister, Jen--yeah the one that recently qualified for the Boston Marathon...she has the Garmin watch thingy. SHE LOVES IT!! Says it really helps with motivation, run planning, and learning where her strengths and weaknesses are on the runs. I think (like you said) you can spend that kind of money when a hobby is SO cost effective otherwise. Ok..that's my 2 cents! :)

Amy: I just stumbled upon this from your family blog and I LOVE IT! I'm going to be checking in regularly! We have started the Flat Belly diet and I have been walking with Mikey outside (as long as its not unbearably hot). I think it would be so great to get into running. Wherever I go around here you ALWAYS see someone running. Thanks for the inspiration! And congrats to you! Yay Mommy! :)
