Blogs have become the new Soap Operas for me - I love reading about other people's live and what they do for fun and fitness.
I'm a mom of 2 handsome boys (Jackson and Jude) and wife to the best man in the world, Jeremy. We live in a little house with a beautiful view of a lake and trees. I'm so lucky to wake up to this site everyday.
I teach at a small University. I love my job. I work with some great people and our students are the best!
This blog has become my opportunity to track my weight loss and fitness status over the past year. I've pretty much been a chub my entire life, but after Jackson was born, I really didn't want to be the 'fat' mom, so I lost 50 pounds and thought it was awesome. Then I got preggers with Jude and gained most of that back. The past several years have been a renewal for me. I'm well within my normal weight range and probably in the best shape of my life! I started running in 2010 and feel like it's opened a whole new world for me. I'm not the fastest runner and that's OK! I sign up for races to keep me working toward my goal of being healthy!
